Marriott Vacation Possibilites

Marriott tasked my team (1 UX designer and me as the motion designer) to develop a seamless experiences with mobile first tech that also gives an update to their concierge services. I worked on the customer facing UX, presenting an innovative digital experience that is simple, unified and easy for both new guests and loyal owners. Bringing together Marriott’s vacation brand and cross-platform tech.

Working with the UX designer, I helped facilitate meetings to align on how the digital experience would be built so that the motion graphics can the level of dynamic energy Marriott was looking for. Things like where the action button would be located and how the modular tiles for each endorsed luxury hotel brand would be arranged was just a few of the decisions I worked with the UX designer on.

ANIMATIONS

These animations were cut into a broader video developed by the Video Production team. After my team built out the screens for each part of the experience, I put the assets together into an animation dynamic and full of the excitement that the Marriott brand is known for.

Personalized onboarding that lets users who signed up feel part of the club experience.

Desktop and Mobile experience animation to convey the easy to operate experience to the viewer.

Interstitials for the tagline “Vacation Possibilities”, written out so the brand’s elegant nature can show through in a subtle manner.

This project gave me a chance to work with an existing branding template, and tweak it for a new initiative, using the mocked up screens to animate dynamic interstitials. I felt content with the positioning of stating Marriott as a luxury brand by highlighting its various endorsed brands of hotels. As a branding and animation exercise, I was very satisfied with the outcome.
